Our Six Safe-Play Commitments
These are not policies buried in fine print. They are active, accessible features built into the 1eec platform for every registered Pakistani player.
18+ Strict Age Enforcement
The 1eec platform is for adults only — minimum age 18, or the higher minimum required by the operator's license jurisdiction. Age is verified during KYC before any withdrawal is processed, and suspicious underage activity triggers immediate account suspension.
Self-Exclusion
Request a temporary pause (as short as 24 hours) or a permanent block on your account. Once activated, self-exclusion is enforced immediately. We will not send promotional offers to self-excluded players and will not encourage early reversal.
Deposit Limits
Set a daily, weekly or monthly cap on how much you can deposit. Limits take effect immediately when reduced. Increases require a waiting period to prevent impulsive changes in the heat of the moment.
Loss Limits
Define the maximum net loss you are prepared to sustain over a daily, weekly or monthly period. Once the threshold is reached, further deposits within that window are blocked automatically — no override available until the period resets.
Session Time Controls
Session time reminders alert you when you have been playing for a duration you define in advance. Reality checks — on-screen messages showing your net session result — can be configured to appear at regular intervals.
24/7 Support Access
Our support team is available round the clock via live chat. Responsible gambling queries are treated with complete confidentiality. English and Urdu assistance is available for Pakistani players across Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and beyond.
What Does Responsible Gambling Mean?
Responsible gambling means approaching betting and casino games as a leisure activity with a pre-set budget and time limit — not as an income source, an investment strategy or a mechanism to recover previous losses. Every session on 1eec should be funded with money you can afford to lose entirely, without affecting your household, family or financial obligations.
Pakistan cricket fans and PSL supporters who enjoy the added engagement of betting markets should always separate the entertainment value of betting from any expectation of financial return. The odds on every market are set so that the operator retains an edge over time — this is not a secret. Understanding this is the foundation of responsible gambling.
Responsible gambling also means being aware of the legal context in Pakistan. Online gambling may be restricted or prohibited under Pakistani law, including the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977. We do not provide legal advice. You are responsible for knowing and complying with the laws that apply in your jurisdiction before participating.
Finally, responsible gambling involves recognising when play has shifted from entertainment to something more serious — and having the honesty and support systems to act on that recognition. 1eec provides those tools and supports your decision to use them, without judgment or pressure.
⚠️ Pakistan Legal Notice: Gambling may be restricted or prohibited under applicable Pakistani law. The legal status of online gambling depends on jurisdiction and applicable legislation. This is not legal advice. Understand the laws that apply to you before participating. 1eec is not licensed, approved or endorsed by the Government of Pakistan, PTA, SBP or any Pakistani financial institution.
Gambling Is Safe When You:
- Set a fixed budget before you start and stick to it
- Treat any losses as the cost of entertainment, not a debt
- Limit your session duration and take regular breaks
- Never gamble under the influence of alcohol or substances
- Avoid chasing losses — accept that variance is unpredictable
- Keep gambling activity separate from work and family time
- Only use funds you could afford to lose completely
Your Player Protection Tools in Detail
Every tool listed here is built into your 1eec account and available at any time from your account settings. No need to contact support to set limits — you can do it yourself.
Deposit Limits
Choose a daily, weekly or monthly cap on deposits in PKR. For example, set a weekly limit of PKR 5,000 to ensure your betting budget never exceeds what you have pre-planned. Lowering a limit takes effect immediately. Increasing a limit is subject to a mandatory cooling-off delay — typically 24 to 72 hours — to prevent reactive decisions during losing streaks.
Loss Limits
A loss limit sets a ceiling on the net amount you can lose over a defined period. Once reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. This is one of the most effective tools against chasing behaviour — the account simply prevents further play rather than relying solely on willpower. Configurable at PKR-denominated thresholds that you define.
Session Time Reminders & Reality Checks
Long uninterrupted sessions are one of the clearest risk signals in problem gambling research. Session reminders pop up after the time threshold you set, prompting you to review whether to continue. Reality checks display your net session result at intervals — say, every 30 or 60 minutes — so you always know where you stand in PKR terms, not just chips or credits.
Cooling-Off Period
Not ready for full self-exclusion but need a break? A cooling-off period temporarily suspends your account for a defined period — 24 hours, 48 hours, one week or longer. During a cooling-off period, your account is inaccessible for deposits and wagering. The period cannot be cancelled early once activated, giving you a genuine breather free from pressure.
Self-Exclusion
Self-exclusion is a formal request to close your account and prevent re-registration for a defined period — minimum six months, up to permanent. Once a self-exclusion is active, you will not receive promotional communications, bonus offers or marketing from 1eec. Re-registration during an active self-exclusion period is prohibited and any such account will be closed immediately.
Account Closure
If you decide to stop gambling entirely, you may request permanent account closure. Any verified real-money balance will be returned to your registered payment method following KYC confirmation. Account closure is not reversible and is the strongest self-protection option available. Contact support via live chat or [email protected] to initiate closure.
How Limit Changes Work
Reducing a Limit
Takes effect immediately. No delay, no override. A PKR 10,000/week deposit limit can be reduced to PKR 3,000/week instantly.
Increasing a Limit
Subject to a mandatory cooling-off period of 24–72 hours before the increase takes effect. This delay is intentional — it prevents impulsive decisions during a session.
Self-Exclusion Reversal
Short-term exclusions (under 6 months) may be reversed after the period expires and a mandatory reflection delay. Permanent exclusions cannot be reversed.
Adults Only — No Exceptions
Access to 1eec is strictly limited to adults aged 18 years and over, or the higher minimum age required by the operator's license jurisdiction or by the laws of your country or territory of residence. Age being 18 does not imply that gambling is lawful in your jurisdiction — always check local law first.
Age verification is not optional. Before any withdrawal is processed, every account must complete KYC verification — including submission of a valid CNIC or passport. Where we have reasonable grounds to believe an account holder may be under the minimum age, the account will be suspended immediately pending verification.
Any winnings accrued during a period of underage play will be forfeited. Any real-money deposits made by an underage player will be returned to the original payment source after the closure process is completed. This policy is enforced without exception.
If you share a household with anyone under the age of 18, we strongly encourage you to:
- Keep your 1eec login credentials strictly private — do not allow minors access to your device while logged in;
- Consider using device-level parental control software to block access to gambling websites;
- Contact our support team to request account-level safeguards if you are concerned about access.
If you suspect a minor has accessed a gambling platform: Contact the operator's support team immediately. In Pakistan, concerns about minors and online safety can also be raised with relevant child protection authorities in your province — contact our support team for guidance on local resources.
Recognising Problem Gambling
Problem gambling develops gradually and is often difficult to recognise from the inside. The following warning signs are widely used by gambling counsellors and researchers. If several of these apply to you or someone you care about, seek support.
Spending more money than planned, or borrowing funds to gamble
Feeling irritable, restless or anxious when not gambling
Chasing losses — betting more to try to win back what was lost
Lying to family members about the extent of gambling activity
Using gambling as a way to escape stress, anxiety or depression
Missing work, studies or important family events to gamble
Gambling with bill money, rent or essential household funds
Failed previous attempts to reduce or stop gambling
Thinking about gambling constantly even during other activities
Increasing stake sizes to maintain the same level of excitement
Recognising these signs is the first step. If you identify with several of the above, we encourage you to activate a self-exclusion on your 1eec account immediately and to seek independent support. Contact us via live chat or at [email protected]. We will help you without judgment.
Ask Yourself These Questions
This is not a clinical diagnostic tool — it is a prompt for honest self-reflection. If you answer "yes" to two or more of these questions consistently, or if the questions make you uncomfortable, it is worth speaking to a counsellor or activating limits on your account right away.
Responsible gambling starts with self-awareness. Pakistani players from Karachi to Peshawar, Lahore to Multan, face the same underlying pressures — social stress, financial strain, competitive excitement around cricket and PSL seasons. These pressures can amplify gambling behaviour. Checking in regularly with yourself is a healthy habit.
Not sure how to answer? Our support team is available 24/7 and can guide you through our available tools in complete confidence. No question is too small or too personal.
Have you ever gambled with money that was meant for essential expenses — rent, utilities, food or bills?
After a loss, do you feel a strong urge to immediately deposit more and win it back?
Do you find yourself thinking about your next gambling session even when doing other things?
Have you hidden your gambling activity from family members or close friends?
Do you feel anxious, irritable or low when you are not able to gamble for a period?
Have you borrowed money — from family, friends or a financial institution — specifically to fund gambling?
Has gambling caused conflict in your relationships, at work or in your daily responsibilities?
Have you made a previous decision to stop or limit gambling but been unable to sustain it?
